Fire Rated Doors

Secur-A-Door Inc. provides the best quality in fire resistant residential doors for the New York Metro area. We will custom make and install 1 1/2 hour and 3 hour fire rated hollow metal and kalamein doors with steel frames or with your existing frame, custom sized vision lights, and heavy duty hardware. Custom fire doors are often used as boiler room doors, elevator motor room doors, basement doors, roof doors, apartment doors and more. In the event of a fire, Secur-A-Door fire doors will prevent both flames and smoke from spreading.

We will provide and install a variety of hollow metal doors.  Standard doors are 1 ¾” or (45 mm) in thickness and are available in 14, 16, 18, and 20 gauge.  We can also provide 1 3/8″ thick doors. Door skins are mechanically interlocked vertically along the hinge and lock edge.  Door edges are beveled 1/8” (3 mm) in 2” (50 mm) and door surfaces are flush and free of any joints, welds or seams.  All standard doors are manufactured and reinforced to receive specified architectural hardware.
